Ms. Andrea Smith Green


Spouse of the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps

Term of Service: 2 Years — Beginning June 2016

Ms. Andrea Smith Green, wife of Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Ronald Green, works full-time as an emergency room registered nurse and volunteers with the Parent-Teacher Student Association where her children attend school. She participates in the Marine Corps Key Volunteer Network, Leadership Education Seminars, Marine Corps Forces Europe/Africa and I Marine Expeditionary Force Family Readiness Program Command Teams, L.I.N.K.S., American Red Cross, and Spouse Transition and Readiness Seminar.

In addition to serving on the Military Family Readiness Council, she is currently an active member of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Family Readiness Committee, and Military Spouse of the Year Award.

Mrs. Green holds a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.S. in Allied Health Studies from Southern University and A&M College. She has earned a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma Certification. She is also a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Emergency Nurses Association.
