Ms. Michelle Lee Padgett, is married to Chief Master Sergeant Stephen L. Padgett, the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Career Field Manager, assigned to the Pentagon. She currently serves as the Foreign and Domestic Relations Liaison to the United States Air Force Chief of Staff. As his personal advisor, she provides guidance and oversight for national, regional and international partner engagement to advance equities and manage interaction with visiting delegations.
Previously, Ms. Padgett served as a program analyst in the Air Force headquarters Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office. Her diverse career includes positions across the health, human performance, and education fields, where she has served as a human resources director, consultant, therapist, counselor, instructor and curriculum developer.
Ms. Padgett holds a BA in Business Management & Psychology and an MA, in Counseling Psychology & Personnel Services both from the University of Maryland. She is also a licensed Professional Counselor in North Dakota; a Nationally Certified Counselor; and a Certified Family Life Educator.
Ms. Padgett has received many performance awards including being nominated for 2008 Military Spouse of the Year.
