Invictus Games Celebrate Resilience of Wounded Warriors

The 2017 Invictus Games is an adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. This year’s event, scheduled Sept. 23-30, in Toronto, Canada, highlights the Department of Defense’s commitment to using adaptive athletics in its wounded warrior programs.

Sept. 24 is Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, when we remember and honor those who have lost a family member in service.
